Artikulator: Der Die Das ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and protected when you use our iOS application.
Information We Collect
We do not collect any personal identifiable information directly. To provide a seamless learning experience, our app utilizes trusted third-party services that may collect the following types of data:
- Device Identifiers: Used for analytics and ad delivery (such as IDFA, only when permitted by the user).
- Usage & Telemetry Data: Anonymous search queries, feature interactions, and crash diagnostics to improve the app.
- Purchase & Subscription History: Subscription validation records for Artikulator Pro subscriptions (managed securely via RevenueCat and Apple StoreKit).
- User-Submitted Content: Words submitted via the "Suggest a Word" feature are sent to our moderation backend without any personal identifying information attached.
Third-Party Services
We work with the following industry-standard third-party providers:
- Apple StoreKit: Processes all financial transactions and subscription billing directly on Apple's secure infrastructure.
- RevenueCat: Validates and manages subscription states securely across app launches.
- Google AdMob: Serves non-intrusive advertisements to users on the free tier.
- Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics: Collects anonymous usage metrics and crash logs to help us identify and fix bugs.
- Supabase: Provides secure backend database and cloud functions for word catalog synchronization and word suggestions.
Terms of Use (EULA)

Data Retention & Security
Your learning history, favorites, and app settings are stored locally on your device. Any telemetry or analytical data gathered by third-party SDKs is anonymized and transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.
Children's Privacy
Our app does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
